7Seas Entertainment Ltd, an independent game developer from Hyderabad, has partnered with JioGames to bring their mobile games to millions of smartphone and set-top box users across India.
The Bombay Stock Exchange-listed company has already launched seven games on the JioGames platform, with more titles planned for the future.
According to the announcement, 7Seas has released several casual gaming titles including Sweet Boom, Gobble Chase, and Soccer Brawl on the JioGames platform. These games span various genres including casual, adventure, puzzle, and sports categories, appealing to a wide range of players.
JioGames is part of Reliance Jio, one of India's largest telecommunications and digital services companies. This partnership allows 7Seas to leverage Jio's extensive reach across India, particularly through JioFiber broadband and set-top boxes.
L. Maruti Sanker, Managing Director of 7Seas Entertainment, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration. "This marks a significant milestone for us since JioGames is a leading brand and fast-growing conglomerate, with huge gamer base," he stated.
7Seas Entertainment, previously known as 7Seas Technologies Ltd, has built a portfolio of over 600 games, including award-winning titles like Mouze Maze and The Dark Man.
For JioGames, this collaboration adds fresh content to their already diverse library, which includes instant games, cloud gaming through JioGamesCloud, and esports offerings. The platform continues to expand its gaming ecosystem to capture the attention of India's growing community of casual gamers.
