What’s New in Valley of Memory

The free DLC takes Basim to AlUla, an ancient oasis city located in present-day Saudi Arabia, filled with ancient ruins, oases, and secrets.

The story kicks off with the “Head of the Snake” mission, where Basim chases rumors about his long-lost father. Players can expect new world activities, contracts, and side missions. Two standout additions include Stolen Goods, which tasks you with stealing maps from robbers, and Oud Melodies, a parkour-based mission where you collect musical sequences.

Gameplay Improvements

Ubisoft has added a free jump option, giving players more control over traversal. Side and back ejects are now possible even without clear landings, and replayable missions called Animus Sequences introduce new challenges with rewards like Animus Mods.

Difficulty options have expanded too, with Hardened Assassin and Ultra Hardened modes, plus a custom preset for tailored experiences.

Tools also get tier 3 upgrades: throwing knives now explode, smoke bombs dissolve enemies, blow darts pierce armor, Noisemakers put enemies to sleep, and traps cause enemies to turn on their fellow guards.

Patch Notes Highlights

The update tweaks combat responsiveness, improves parkour animations, and adds UI features like fast travel between Baghdad and AlUla.

Ubisoft also rebalanced notoriety, refined tool aim assist, and fixed several bugs across gameplay, visuals, and stability.

Even small details like parry VFX and horse mount camera have been polished. Check out full details here.
