The American Cancer Society (ACS) has joined forces with gaming company Besitos in a creative new partnership that lets mobile gamers help fight cancer while playing their favorite games.
Through Besitos' KashKick app, players can earn rewards for themselves while also generating matching donations to the American Cancer Society.
This innovative approach connects the booming world of mobile gaming with charitable giving in a simple, engaging way.
Players don't need to change their habits—they just play games as usual, but now their gameplay helps fund cancer research and support programs.
"We are excited to partner with Besitos to engage a new audience in a new way and bring even greater hope to cancer patients and their families," said Wendy Johnson, ACS Florida Vice President. According to Johnson, this partnership "empowers gamers to turn their passion for mobile gaming into a force for good, helping to end cancer as we know it."
The partnership taps into a massive potential audience. Mobile gaming is growing rapidly, with experts predicting the market will reach $60 billion by 2032. Currently, more than 155 million Americans play mobile games, and a striking 85% of these players belong to Generation Z. By connecting with this huge audience, the ACS-Besitos partnership creates an effortless way for people to contribute to cancer research and support.
Vishal Mahtani, Co-founder and Chairman of Besitos, expressed pride in the collaboration. "We're honored to work with the American Cancer Society to offer gamers a chance to give back while doing what they love," Mahtani stated. He emphasized that this initiative highlights Besitos' commitment to using technology not just for entertainment, but to improve lives and create lasting positive change in communities.
