Popular internet personality Kaitlyn Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, took to social media to share some scary news - armed robbers broke into her Texas home trying to get their hands on her cryptocurrency. This all went down on March 2, 2025.
Amouranth posted on X (Twitter) that intruders dragged her out of bed at gunpoint, demanding she give them access to her crypto. She's previously mentioned owning about $20 million in Bitcoin.
"I'm being too robbed at gunpont," she wrote at 4:55 am on March 3. She quickly added more posts to make it clear this wasn't some kind of joke and to explain what was happening.
The streamer claims she managed to fight back during the scary encounter. "I believe I shot one of them they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed," she shared. She also mentioned getting "pistol whipped" during the struggle.

Later, Amouranth posted a video showing emergency vehicles outside her gated home, letting everyone know that police and SWAT teams had arrived and she was now safe. "I'm covered in blood but only some of it is mine I'll update yall later but I'm safe now," she wrote.
She explained that the robbers handed her phone back with "gun to my head," and asked her to log in to transfer Crypto. In this situation, she decided to post on social media instead of calling for help because she thought making a call "would be a death sentence."
While people initially calling it a publicity stunt, the Houston Police Officers Union later confirmed this incident and requested that anyone with information contact authorities.
Amouranth also shared some footage of this incident now:
Amouranth has been stirring up controversy in the streaming world for years now. She's been banned multiple times from platforms like Twitch and YouTube for pushing the boundaries of their rules.
However, she's also known for her entrepreneurial ventures like owning gas stations, the beer business, or the new one, AI Virtual Girlfriend. She also owns an esports team, Wildcard Gaming, and is recently busy promoting it at many events.
