The first quarter of 2025 featured various content trends that boosted viewership across streaming platforms. As noted by Streams Charts, influencer events, political discussions, sports coverage, and new gaming releases all contributed to record-breaking viewership. Asmongold particularly benefited from trying almost all newly released video games, which helped increase his quarterly watch time by 39%.

Kai Cenat maintained his popularity through marathon streaming events, including his "Mafiathon" subathon and a Batman: Arkham series playthrough where he completed all four main games consecutively. He also boosted his visibility by attending high-profile events like the WWE Royal Rumble and the 67th Grammy Awards.

Other notable North American streamers in the top rankings include Hasan Piker, who gained significant viewership covering President Trump's inauguration, along with friends Nicholas "Jynxzi" Stewart and Case "Caseoh" Baker, who secured 5th and 7th positions respectively.
