According to Esports Charts, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has secured its place among the top 10 most-watched Mobile esports events for the first half of 2024.
As one of India’s most popular mobile battle royale games, BGMI has continued to capture the attention of millions of gamers and fans, proving its strong foothold in the competitive gaming world.
The third season of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 clocked over 9 million Hours Watched (HW), solidifying its place among other major global tournaments.
This was a slight jump from the previous year's event but it did not break the record figures from 2021.
The tournament held between May 2nd and June 16 was one of the biggest esports events in India featuring a massive prize pool of ₹2,00,00,000 INR.
In a competition with 16 teams, TeamXSpark won the championship and the top prize of 71 lakh.

While BGMI made a strong showing, it was Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Arena of Valor that took the top spots in the esports rankings for the first half of 2024.

Arena of Glory Spring 2024 & Arena of Valor Premier League: These two Arena of Valor events secured 2nd and 3rd place, with the Arena of Glory Spring event peaking at over 656,500 viewers. Arena of Valor continues to perform well, particularly in Vietnam and Thailand, maintaining its place as a leading mobile esports title in the region.
MPL Philippines Season 13: Similar to other MLBB tournaments, MPL Philippines Season 13 also did well reaching 17.3 million HW. This season also marked new collaborations with international teams such as Team Liquid and Fnatic, which added excitement to the local esports scene.
PUBG Mobile Super League – SEA Spring: PUBG Mobile continues to be a favorite in Southeast Asia. The Spring season outperformed the Summer season, showcasing the growing competitiveness of the region.
