BGMS Season 5 Announces 24 Teams Ahead of August 10 Kickoff

Nodwin Gaming has announced the 24 participating teams for BGMS Season 5 (Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series), with the tournament set to begin on August 10, 2026.


The lineup features some of India's biggest BGMI organizations, including iQOO Soul, Gladiators Esports, Nebula Esports, Team Apex Gaming, K9 Esports, and several other top teams competing for the coveted BGMS title.


With a massive ₹1,00,00,000+ prize pool, BGMS Season 5 returns as one of India's most anticipated BGMI esports tournaments. The offline LAN event will take place in New Delhi, bringing together the country's best teams for nearly a month of competition.


Which Teams Are Competing in BGMS Season 5?

BGMS 2026 will feature 24 teams battling in Squads TPP format. The tournament runs from August 10 to September 6, promising weeks of high-level BGMI action.

Santa Esports secured their BGMS Season 5 spot by winning the TVS Raider Wicked Battles Finals on August 2. They were joined by fellow top finishers Aura X Esports, Hexvora, and White Walkers, who also earned qualification for the tournament.


BGMS Season 5 Schedule

The action begins on August 10, 2026, with the event following this schedule:

  • League Week 1: August 10–13

  • Bounty Weekend: August 14–16

  • League Week 2: August 17–20

  • Super Weekend 1: August 21–23

  • League Week 3: August 24–27

  • Super Weekend 2: August 28–30

  • Playoffs: August 31–September 2

  • Grand Finals: September 4–6


KICK is the official broadcaster, with matches kicking off at 4 p.m.


Last year, K9 Esports were crowned BGMS Season 4 champions after winning the title in Delhi NCR. The team claimed approximately ₹60 lakh from the tournament's ₹1.5 crore prize pool.
