BGMI’s “Great In-Game Wedding” Wins Big at One Show Asia 2025

KRAFTON India’s ambitious campaign, “The Great In-Game Wedding,” has made headlines again by winning multiple honors at the One Show Asia 2025 Awards


BGMI’s “Great In-Game Wedding” wins 2 Silver, 1 Bronze, and 4 Merit honors at One Show Asia 2025.

The campaign secured 2 Silver awards in Game Marketing and Interactive Online & Mobile1 Bronze in Design, and 4 Merit honors across Cultural Impact, Gaming, Print & Promotional, and Public Relations.


Hosted by The One Club for Creativity, New York, the One Show Asia Awards are considered among the most prestigious creative honors in the Asia-Pacific region.


Conceptualized by 22feet Tribal Worldwide, the activation turned BGMI into a cultural stage. Instead of just another in-game event, BGMI recreated the color, rituals, and emotions of an Indian wedding inside the game world. Players could participate in themed challenges, community-led rituals, and celebratory activities that mirrored real-life traditions.


According to Srinjoy Das, Associate Director of Product and Marketing at KRAFTON India, the idea came directly from the community: “We routinely found couples who met on the game, went on to get married, and were celebrated by the fan-base. With the game literally bringing people together, 22feet did a phenomenal job of creating a beautiful experience which fans and the brand alike could celebrate.”


Rahul Mathew, Chief Creative Officer at DDB Mudra Group, explained that the concept resonated strongly with Asian juries because of its cultural nuances. “The BGMI in-game wedding is a marriage of the gaming universe with Indian culture. The recognition at One Asia is an acknowledgement of the same.”
