Blizzard Entertainment has officially revealed the schedule for its 2026 showcase, a multi-part series of livestreams that will highlight the future of its most iconic franchises.
The event, which doubles as a celebration of Blizzard’s 35th anniversary, will run from January 29 to February 11 and feature dedicated presentations for World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Hearthstone, and Diablo.
Founded in February 1991 as Silicon & Synapse before rebranding to Blizzard, the studio has built a legacy with titles that shaped gaming culture. Now, as it marks three and a half decades, Blizzard is preparing to share what’s next for its universes.

What to Expect
Each broadcast promises developer insights, roadmap updates, and potentially new game announcements.
According to Blizzard Entertainment president Johanna Faries, “Our extraordinarily talented teams have assembled a stellar lineup for our players across our universes. This major showcase event comes at a significant moment in time as we reflect on three and a half decades of Blizzard history and our big ambitions for the future. This is only the start of what we’ll share around our games this year, and we can’t wait to bring it to life.”
Fans are already speculating that the showcases may include surprises beyond the confirmed franchises. A recent Blizzard 35 graphic featured icons tied to Starcraft and Heroes of the Storm, sparking hopes for updates.
Starcraft in particular has been in the spotlight, as reports earlier this month suggested a new Starcraft-based shooter could be revealed later this year.
Meanwhile, Diablo players can look forward to Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, which was unveiled at The Game Awards and is scheduled to launch on April 28.
