Twitch streamer Emily Beth Schunk, known to her followers as Emiru, has publicly accused fellow content creator and ex-boyfriend Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo of sexual assault, psychological abuse, stalking, harassment, and threats of blackmail.

The allegations were made during a livestream on October 25, 2025, just days after Emiru was assaulted by a fan at TwitchCon 2025 in San Diego.
What Did Emiru Allege Against Mizkif?
During her emotional broadcast, Emiru directly addressed viewers, saying she had “avoided talking about this all year” but felt compelled to come forward after “new incidents” reportedly occurred.
“Today I’m finally going to be opening up about the psychological and domestic abuse, stalking and harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail that Mizkif has done towards me and some of these issues which are still ongoing.”
According to her detailed account, the most serious incident involved Mizkif allegedly forcing himself on her after a moment of emotional distress. She described that he “tried to climb on top of me and aggressively shoved his hand down my pants,” prompting her to scream, after which Mizkif “jumped off me like a cat and left” without checking if she was okay.
Emiru said she initially made excuses for his behavior, fearing “causing trouble” within their social circle. She further claimed Mizkif used indirect threats to control her, alleging he warned mutual friends that he would “create a smear campaign” if she spoke out.
She also claimed that Mizkif intended to blame her for the deaths of her rabbits, which occurred while they were living together.
Emiru shared several screenshots of messages from Mizkif, sent after she stopped communicating with him. The messages persistently asked her to talk to him and showed his desire to rekindle their relationship.
Threats at TwitchCon 2025
Emiru’s allegations also include a disturbing claim that Mizkif approached one of her employees during TwitchCon 2025, threatening retaliation if she ever discussed their past.
“At TwitchCon, he approached one of my employees, threatening them and saying if I ever talked about him, he would destroy me”.
The streamer said she is in the process of pursuing restraining orders against Mizkif in both California and Texas, citing ongoing harassment and intimidation through intermediaries.
These statements come only a week after her own assault at TwitchCon, where a fan forcibly grabbed her face during a meet-and-greet. Emiru criticized Twitch’s initial handling of the incident, claiming their public statement that the assailant was “immediately detained” was false and that action was only taken “after hours of pressure” from her management team.
Mizkif Responds Live on Stream
Just hours after Emiru’s broadcast, Mizkif went live on Twitch to address the accusations. The 30-year-old streamer appeared emotional and at times defensive, acknowledging the turmoil in his relationship but denying malicious intent.
“I was a massive wreck. Couldn’t think straight,” he said. “Emiru hung out with me all day; we would yell, fight, and argue all the time… I thought it could be fixed.”
Mizkif also admitted to violent outbursts, claiming he “punched holes in the walls” and “slammed doors in aggression,” while suggesting that both parties contributed to the conflict. “I one time did say that I was going to kill myself during an argument, but Emi did that too.”
“The situation got so bad, she would throw clothes and plushies at me. Emi was also violent."
He confessed to jealousy over Emiru’s rising popularity, saying he had become “obsessed with numbers” and struggled to be happy for her success. “It was disgusting, and it ruined my life,” he said.
Mizkif shared that during their rocky relationship, Emiru had written a letter detailing her plans to "marry him and have children within five years." However, he explained that he wasn’t ready for such a commitment, highlighting that their relationship had become so toxic it was impossible to continue in a healthy way.
He further alleged that Emiru neglected her pets, accusing her of failing to feed her rabbits.
“I’ll Expose the Industry”
In one of the most controversial moments of his livestream, Mizkif appeared to threaten other streamers, claiming he possessed “hundreds of messages” that could expose private information about people in the industry.
“I have hundreds of messages from people — things that people do not want to get released,” he warned. “I will be releasing them as time goes on, because who cares?”
Community Reaction and Ongoing Fallout
The response across Twitch and social media has been swift. Streamers, fans, and advocacy groups have voiced support for Emiru, calling for greater accountability in online creator spaces. Several have also urged Twitch to investigate the allegations and reconsider Mizkif’s platform status.
As of this writing, Mizkif has not issued a formal statement beyond his livestream, and One True King (OTK) — the gaming organization he co-founded — has yet to comment on the situation.
This is not the first time Mizkif has faced controversy. In 2022, he was temporarily suspended by OTK after being accused of helping to cover up a sexual assault involving another streamer. A third-party law firm later cleared him of direct involvement, and he was reinstated.
