Indonesian squad EVOS Divine has taken home the title at the Free Fire World Cup 2025, wrapping up an intense final day of action at the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh. After ten fiercely contested matches, the team delivered a clutch performance in the final game to secure the championship.

Final Showdown

Things started off strong for EVOS, who opened the grand finals with a dominant 30-point lead. But as the matches rolled on, their path to the trophy got a whole lot bumpier. Teams like AG.AL, Team Falcons, and RRQ Kazu weren’t about to let them run away with it.

The momentum shifted in Game 6 when Pain Gaming shut down EVOS early, giving Team Vitality the space to grab a Booyah and pushing AG.AL onto match point. From that moment, the competition hit another gear.

The chaos really kicked in from Game 7 onward. Brazilian sides Pain Gaming and Fluxo threw wrenches into everyone's plans, constantly shaking up the leaderboard. LOS jumped into the mix with their second Booyah of the day, while RRQ and Dragons Esports earned key spots in the Championship Rush. With every round, more teams looked like potential winners.

Meanwhile, Team Vitality played the long game, steadily climbing up the ranks with consistent finishes. Their efforts paid off in Game 8, where they clinched a massive Booyah during a hectic final circle that also included AG.AL, RRQ, and EVOS. Despite still being 40 points behind EVOS, that win locked Vitality into the Championship Rush.

Team Falcons claimed Game 9, but it wasn’t quite enough to reach match point. In the penultimate moment, Dragons Esports snagged the last spot in the Championship Rush, setting up a tense six-way showdown for the final match.

Going into Game 10, the pressure was sky-high. Every team still standing had a shot at the title. RRQ eliminated AG.AL early, only to be taken out by Fluxo, who then dropped Dragons. That left just a few contenders in the shrinking final circle. Falcons looked like they might sneak the win, but EVOS Divine stayed calm under pressure, executed flawlessly, and secured a dramatic Booyah right when it mattered most.

Rasyah Shines Bright with Sony MVP Award

The star of the tournament? Rasyah “Rasyah” Rasyid. His aggressive plays and game-changing moments helped EVOS stack up 96 kills—over half of their total 170 points. That kind of firepower didn’t go unnoticed, and he was rightfully awarded the Sony MVP Award, along with a cool $10,000 bonus.

Even though Team Vitality and Team Falcons didn’t clinch the title, they walked away with plenty of respect. Vitality’s third-place finish was especially significant—it pushed them ahead of Gen.G in the EWC Club Championship standings, giving their organization a huge boost.
