Fortnite is officially teaming up with Netflix’s Stranger Things once again, bringing the Upside Down to Blitz Royale on November 24, 2025.

Epic Games confirmed the crossover in a social media teaser, and Netflix followed up with its own announcement on Tudum. The timing couldn’t be better, as Stranger Things Season 5, the show’s final chapter, is set to premiere just two days later. For players, this means we’ll get to dive into Hawkins’ eerie parallel dimension inside Fortnite before the series wraps up.
Blitz Royale, which debuted earlier this year on June 18, has quickly become a fan-favorite mode. Unlike the traditional battle royale, Blitz pits 32 players against each other on a smaller map in matches that last about five minutes. It’s fast, chaotic, and perfect for themed crossovers. According to Epic’s teaser, the Stranger Things event will introduce a brand-new Upside Down Blitz map, complete with a corrupted Hawkins setting and the ominous Mind Flayer looming overhead. Reports suggest this map will also feature exclusive weapons, boons, and medallions to spice up gameplay.
Of course, cosmetics are a huge part of Fortnite collaborations, and this one looks stacked. The highlight so far is an Eddie Munson-inspired Peely skin, spotted during the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere (as shown in the above image). The skin even carries “The Seven” badge icon, sparking speculation that Fortnite’s mysterious faction could return in Chapter 7.
Beyond Eddie Peely, fans are anticipating skins for the core Stranger Things crew, Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, and Lucas, as well as Vecna, the terrifying villain from Season 4. A Steve Harrington skin is also rumored, which would be a big win for longtime fans.
This isn’t the first time Stranger Things has entered Fortnite. Back in Chapter 1, players got access to Demogorgon and Chief Hopper skins, followed later by Eleven with her telekinesis emote. According to leaker ShiinaBR, the November 24 crossover may also bring back those older outfits, giving newer players a chance to grab them.
So, mark your calendars for November 24, 2025.
