Gamescom Latam 2025 has wrapped up in São Paulo with an impressive 130,000 registered attendees.
The five-day convention, held from April 30 to May 4 at the Anhembi District Convention Center, featured more than 40 major publishers including Nintendo, Konami, Epic Games, NetEase, and others.
Gaming fans had access to hundreds of playable titles from both major studios and indie developers.
This year's attendance represents a 30% increase from the inaugural event last year, which drew approximately 100,000 visitors.
"We're very excited about the results of the second edition of gamescom latam," said CEO Gustavo Steinberg. "The numbers were above expectations, and the broken records not only consolidate the great relevance of the event for the whole region but also show companies from all over the world that this market is consolidated, competitive, and is filled with a lot of passion."
Beyond physical attendance, the event reached over 10 million people through online broadcasts and panels. According to organizers, more than 300 media channels covered the convention, while over 2,000 partnered influencers helped extend its digital reach.
Industry professionals were well-represented with more than 3,000 in attendance.
The event featured over 200 hours of content spanning community-focused activities and business-oriented programming.
Notable speakers included gaming industry veterans like Henk Rogers (co-founder of The Tetris Company), Shuhei Yoshida (former head of PlayStation indies), Bo Andersson (former Starbreeze CEO), and Brazilian skateboarding legend Bob Burnquist.
Steinberg highlighted that Gamescom Latam "has established itself as the place for publishers to be and games to launch, with more than 120 launches in this edition."
The event will return to the same venue next year, scheduled for April 29 to May 3, 2026.
