Google Trends has revealed ARC Raiders as the most-searched game of 2025.

It’s rare to see a late-year release dominate Google’s annual search rankings, but ARC Raiders has managed to do exactly that.
Embark Studios’ extraction adventure released on October 30 with glowing reviews and a wave of excitement from players. The game’s accessibility has been a major talking point, with many calling it the extraction shooter that finally makes the genre approachable for a wider audience. For years, extraction games were seen as too punishing for casual players, but ARC Raiders seems to have flipped that perception.
According to Google’s Year in Search report, ARC Raiders topped the charts ahead of heavyweights like Battlefield 6, Path of Exile 2, and even Grand Theft Auto 6.
The full list is:
ARC Raiders
Battlefield 6
Strands
Split Fiction
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Path of Exile 2
Grand Theft Auto 6
Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Minecraft
Roblox
The game’s popularity isn’t just fueled by curiosity—it’s backed by strong engagement. ARC Raiders has kept hundreds of thousands of concurrent players, earned award nominations, and continues to trend across social platforms.
According to Alina Analytics, it has already sold over 4 million copies on Steam in just four weeks and is approaching 7 million across all platforms. PlayStation charts show it secured the No. 2 spot in North America and No. 3 in Europe for November, trailing only Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 in the U.S. and EA Sports FC 26 in Europe.
Embark Studios has already promised long-term support, reassuring fans that new content and updates are on the way.
