Fortnite Festival has officially entered its tenth season, and this time Epic Games is going all-in with a massive collaboration featuring the world’s most famous virtual band — Gorillaz.

Starting tomorrow, August 26, Noodle, 2D, Russel Hobbs, and Murdoc Niccals are stepping into the spotlight as playable Festival Icons, complete with themed cosmetics, jam tracks, and a brand-new main stage inspired by the band’s gritty, graffiti-heavy style.

Gorillaz Skins, Bundles, and Tracks

Fans of the group will immediately notice that all four members are available through different unlocks. According to Epic’s announcement, the Noodle & 2D Bundle will arrive in the Item Shop, featuring outfits, instruments, a DARE emote, the Bonesy Balloons contrail, and a Gorillaz camo wrap.

Meanwhile, Russel unlocks instantly with the Season 10 Music Pass, while Murdoc serves as the big endgame premium reward — complete with his signature Bass and Cape.

Of course, a Gorillaz collab wouldn’t feel complete without their music. Two of their most iconic songs, DARE and Clint Eastwood, debut as jam tracks.

Premium pass holders will also get access to On Melancholy Hill and additional songs from artists like Stone Temple Pilots, Hanumankind, and MXZI. Free players aren’t left out either, as tracks like End of the Earth and Pick It Up (Remix) are also included.

A New Main Stage with Gorillaz Flavor

Epic has completely redesigned the Festival’s Main Stage to match the band’s aesthetic. The new cityscape comes with towering skyscrapers, an overhead street train, and walls plastered with graffiti — basically dropping players right into a Gorillaz music video. The environment aims to capture the chaotic, street-inspired vibe the group is known for.

Gameplay Improvements and Quality of Life Updates

Season 10 isn’t just about cosmetics and music — Epic has also tweaked gameplay for smoother performance. Players will now see a “Good” feedback note when hitting close to perfect timing, lift notes have been redesigned for clarity, and music libraries can now be sorted by song duration or intensity. Guitar calibration has also been streamlined, allowing strums during setup.

Rewards in the Music Pass

The Music Pass continues to be a key part of Fortnite Festival. Purchasing it (or accessing it through Fortnite Crew) instantly unlocks Russel, while progressing through levels eventually rewards players with Murdoc. Free rewards are also available, including instruments like the Grzzly Keys Keytar and Junkit Drums.

Content Creation Notes

Epic also flagged an important detail for streamers: Gorillaz jam tracks will only be monetizable on YouTube for the first seven days after release. After that, copyright holders may flag content, so creators will need to tread carefully when streaming or uploading gameplay featuring DARE or Clint Eastwood.

A Big Milestone for Fortnite Festival

This marks the tenth season of Fortnite Festival, which first launched in 2023 as a rhythm-based mode developed by Harmonix. Over the past year, Epic has brought in stars like Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, and Snoop Dogg. Now, with Gorillaz headlining, Season 10.

The celebration doesn’t stop in-game either. As per reports, Fortnite Festival will also be showcased at the Gorillaz’ House of Kong Exhibition in London, running from August 8 to September 3.
