Manni L. Perez, the actress speculated to be portraying Lucia in Grand Theft Auto 6, has quietly removed her Instagram account, sparking fresh discussion among fans. While some believe the move may have been triggered by backlash or unwanted attention from the GTA community, the exact reason remains uncertain.

The speculation around Perez began shortly after Rockstar Games unveiled the official GTA 6 reveal trailer in December 2023. Fans were quick to draw comparisons between Perez’s voice and facial features and those of Lucia, the female lead featured in the trailer. Though Rockstar has not confirmed any casting details, the theory has steadily gained traction over the months.

As per the GTA fan page GTAVI_Countdown, Perez's long-standing Instagram account (@ManniLPerez) was deleted around early July. This sudden disappearance fueled rumors that the actress may have been harassed online due to her suspected involvement in GTA 6. However, that might not be the whole story.

Before the account was taken down, several users, including Twitter/X user CyberBoiuk, noted that Perez's profile started showing “scammy stories” — a common indicator of a compromised account. If the account was indeed hacked, the deletion could have simply been a measure to regain control or protect her privacy.

Perez remains the most widely discussed candidate for the role of Lucia, but Rockstar has yet to confirm any cast members. Historically, Rockstar has kept casting information under wraps until long after release. The only major exception was 2002's GTA: Vice City, where Ray Liotta was announced as the voice of Tommy Vercetti shortly before launch — a move that helped generate buzz given Liotta’s Hollywood fame. In GTA 6’s case, Rockstar may not see the same promotional benefit in early cast announcements, especially if the actors involved are relatively lesser known.

Nonetheless, GTA 6 will launch on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The PC version is expected to follow later in the year.
