THE FINALS League

Skyesports has announced the second edition of its popular IPL style esports tournament, THE FINALS League 2.0, where India's top gaming creators and players will compete for championship glory.

This city-versus-city competition will feature six teams battling for their share of a $5,000 prize pool.

According to tournament organizers, each team will be led by a prominent content creator representing different Indian cities. The captain lineup includes gaming personalities Binks, Blossom, Rakazone, Hydraflick, Tbone, and defending champion Red Parasite.

The tournament introduces an innovative IPL styled player auction system where team captains will use virtual currency to bid for top talent. This unique format creates excitement even before the matches begin, as captains strategically assemble their rosters. Interested players can join the action by submitting their names through the registration link.

Following the March 14 auction, the competition will progress to the Group Stage scheduled for March 21-23. The six participating teams will be divided into three groups of two, competing in a double round-robin format. As per the tournament structure, two groups (four teams) will face off simultaneously in the Cashout Mode.

Based on overall performance rankings, the top four teams will advance to the Main Stage on March 29-30. This championship phase will feature two series across six maps as the elite teams battle for the ultimate title.

Gaming enthusiasts can catch all the action via livestream on THE FINALS India and Skyesports YouTube channels.

The tournament builds on the success of the inaugural edition, which concluded in October 2024. During that competition, the Bengaluru Starbusters led by Red Parasite emerged victorious over ScoutOP's Ahmedabad Meteors in an intense grand final showdown.

Tournament officials encourage fans to follow THE FINALS India X (formerly Twitter) channel for upcoming announcements about the six cities competing in this new season.

The city-based format has proven popular among fans, creating natural rivalries and hometown pride among supporters.
