The Kings League has announced a collaboration with Epic Games for the Kings World Cup Clubs Paris 2025, set to take place from June 1 to 14.
What to Expect from Kings League x Epic Games Partnership
Epic Games—the powerhouse behind Fortnite, Rocket League, and Fall Guys—hasn’t made an official statement just yet, but the partnership seems set to bring football-themed content into at least one of its titles, with Fortnite being the most likely.
It makes sense: the Kings League's digitally savvy, younger audience overlaps perfectly with Fortnite's massive global player base.
While nothing’s confirmed yet, fans are already buzzing with ideas for possible in-game additions like:
Kings League player skins
Exclusive emotes or goal celebrations
Limited-time football-themed game modes
Virtual stadium or broadcast-style experiences
There’s no official release date for the skins or emotes either, but it's expected they'll be revealed during the Kings World Cup Clubs Paris 2025 grand finals. Based on previous Icon Series Emotes, pricing will probably land around 500 V-Bucks.
In the meantime, fans are being encouraged to post their favorite celebrations on X (formerly Twitter). The most popular one might just make it into the game.
What Is the Kings League?
The Kings League is a fast-paced, seven-a-side football competition that launched in 2022. It was founded by ex-Barcelona star Gerard Piqué, along with Kosmos and a bunch of popular internet personalities.
Based in Barcelona, the league features 12+ teams (depending on the region), led by streamers, YouTubers, and former pro players. It blends real football with entertainment twists inspired by futsal and American sports.
Matches are short and punchy—just 40 minutes total, split into two 20-minute halves. Add in wildcards like unlimited substitutions, a “Secret Weapon” mechanic, and golden goals for tie-breakers, and you’ve got a formula that’s kept millions of fans hooked on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.
It’s grown fast, too. The Kings League now includes a women’s division (the Queens League, launched in 2023), and regional spinoffs like Kings League Americas. As of 2025, it’s expanded to Italy, Brazil, France, and Germany—with plans to hit the Middle East and North Africa soon under the Kings League MENA banner.
This crossover with Epic Games aims to bring the energy of the Kings League into the world of Fortnite, blending sports and gaming in a way that feels fresh, fun, and totally 2025.
