Konami Group Reports 23% Jump in Profit in Fiscal Year 2025

Konami Group Corporation has reported record financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, posting historic highs in net sales, operating income, and final profit for the second consecutive year.

The Japanese entertainment giant saw net sales reach 421.6 billion yen ($2.9 billion), a 17% year-over-year increase, while operating profit climbed 23.7% to 109.1 billion yen ($747.66 million).

What’s Driving Konami’s Growth?

At the heart of this financial surge is the company’s Digital Entertainment Business, which remains Konami’s most lucrative division. The sector generated 305.2 billion yen in net sales (up 22.5%) and 98.9 billion yen in operating profit (up 24.7%).

Among the highlights:

“SILENT HILL 2” Remake shipped over 2 million units globally, showing strong demand for premium reboots of classic IPs.
Baseball titles featuring superstar Shohei Ohtani had a standout year, thanks to special anniversary editions and seasonal promotions.
The “eFootball” series surpassed 800 million downloads, further cementing its position in the global sports gaming market.
Mobile mainstays like “Professional Baseball Spirits A” and “JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU” celebrated their 9th and 10th anniversaries, maintaining strong revenue contributions.
