Timothy “Lil Gara” Brooks, a 20-year-old Twitch Partner who rose to viral fame in 2024, has been arrested on serious felony charges including kidnapping with a weapon and burglary with assault or battery in Miami, Florida.

The incident, which allegedly involved his ex-girlfriend—known online as Indiyabb.

On May 28, 2025, Lil Gara was booked by Miami-Dade authorities on three criminal charges:

• Kidnapping with a weapon or firearm (Domestic Violence) – First-degree felony, punishable by life in prison

• Burglary with assault or battery (Domestic Violence) – Also a first-degree felony

• Carrying a concealed weapon – Third-degree felony, punishable by up to 5 years

According to muliple reports, the arrest was made following an alleged domestic violence incident involving Indiyabb, who later posted a photo of Brooks’ arrest record on Instagram.

She accompanied the image with a message indicating she had endured a “very traumatic” near-death experience and promised to share more during a live stream.

Backstory: A Viral Breakup That Turned Dark

Lil Gara gained notoriety in April 2024, when a Twitch clip of him reacting live to discovering his then-girlfriend's infidelity went viral. The stream showed Gara sifting through her phone while on a date, discovering messages with other men. The viral moment caught the attention of top streamers and social media influencers, including members of FaZe Clan.

As the situation escalated, Indiyabb accused Brooks of stealing her bag and $3,000, then allegedly throwing the bag into a lake. She later stated she called the police in response to the incident, marking the beginning of an increasingly volatile relationship that eventually led to Brooks’ arrest.
