Maximum Entertainment, best known for publishing and developing a wide array of indie and mid-budget video games, has officially partnered with cloud gaming provider Blacknut to bring 29 of its standout titles to the platform starting April 24.
Headlining the lineup are Bramble: The Mountain King, a haunting dark fantasy adventure; Wild Bastards, a high-octane sci-fi roguelike shooter; and In Sound Mind, a mind-bending psychological horror experience.
Formed through the merger of Maximum Games, Merge Games, and Just For Games, Maximum Entertainment has consistently carved its own lane in the industry, emphasizing unique storytelling, artistic vision, and player-driven experiences. Now, it's expanding that vision to the cloud.
Blacknut, which offers a subscription-based cloud gaming service across more than 60 countries, currently boasts a library of over 500 premium titles. The platform supports up to five simultaneous player profiles per account and is accessible on Smart TVs, tablets, PCs, and more. As part of the collaboration, all 29 Maximum Entertainment titles will be optimized for seamless play across supported devices.
“This is about accessibility and freedom,” said Philippe Cohen, CEO of Maximum Entertainment. “We’re always exploring ways to bring our games to more players. Blacknut’s cloud technology allows us to do just that—deliver great gaming experiences wherever and whenever players want them.”
Nabil Laredj, VP of New Business & Licensing at Blacknut, echoed the excitement: “Maximum Entertainment’s library is filled with creative, genre-defining gems. Their commitment to narrative depth and gameplay innovation makes them an ideal partner for Blacknut’s ever-expanding global audience.”
This partnership comes as the cloud gaming market continues its explosive growth. Industry forecasts from Statista estimate the sector will soar to $14.5 billion by 2027, as more companies invest in delivering high-quality games via broadband and 5G networks—minimizing the need for traditional hardware.
