Minecraft is teaming up with Adidas again to bring players both in-game content and real-world drip.
This collab is part of a multi-year partnership that kicked off in April 2025, blending gaming, sports, and culture with cool apparel, sneakers, and interactive in-game goodies inspired by Minecraft.
The partnership’s first capsule collection dropped globally on April 1, 2025, alongside the release of A Minecraft Movie. That launch was all about the physical merch—apparel and footwear tied to the movie—but it didn’t come with any in-game content.
Now, they’re turning things up a notch.
The latest crossover features a brand-new free add-on, titled “Adidas Adventurers”, available now in the Minecraft Marketplace, plus a fresh IRL apparel collection over on adidas.com continues.
The Adidas Adventurers Add-On: Companions, Lootboxes, and More
This free in-game content for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition introduces three helpful companions:
The Coach – This companion helps locate ore blocks and can teleport them right to you.
The Mascot – Your go-to gatherer, fetching crops and useful items while you explore.
The Teammate – Jumps into battle alongside you, offering combat support against mobs.
Each companion adds passive bonuses like damage boosts, haste, hunger prevention, and even lava protection. But it doesn’t stop there—The Coach also unlocks a quest tracker, challenging players to complete movement-based milestones (like distance run or mobs defeated). Every milestone earns you an Adidas Lootbox.
Adidas Lootboxes & Gold Gear
There are two types of lootboxes:
Blue Lootboxes contain standard Minecraft items.
Gold Lootboxes are where the magic happens—expect exclusive Adidas armour, decked out in slick real-world-inspired designs with abilities like super jump, water breathing, and damage reflection.
Real-Life Merch Drop: Limited Edition IRL Collection
The adventure doesn’t stop in-game. Adidas x Minecraft’s real-world collection is now available, too. From tracksuits and tees to sneakers, the collection is tailored for kids and teens and inspired by Minecraft mobs.
