The official modding support is coming to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2! I'm seriously hyped about this!
The official modding support will be available through Steamworks, which means it's exclusive to Steam users.
That's going to make the game so much more replayable! Though they didn't give us an actual release date for the modding feature... just that "stay tuned" tease. Still, the fact they're announcing it means it can't be too far off!
The game's been absolutely killing it since launch. It sold over ONE MILLION copies in its first day and That's massive for a historically-focused RPG!
Later almost bankrupt Embracer Group announced its close to TWO MILLION mark and celebrated it like a huge victory.
The critics are loving it too. With many straight-up called it a "masterpiece" - that's not a word reviewers throw around lightly!
On Steam it holds up 93% positive reviews while Metacrtoc gave it 88 rating.
Don't forget the photo mode! It's apparently really neat - I've seen some amazing screenshots people have been sharing online.
The modding community is going to take this game to a whole new level. I'm thinking new quests, armor sets, weapons, maybe even total conversion mods down the line!
Last month Baldur's Gate 3 celebrated 100 million mod downloads.
