From gameplay tweaks to revamped modes, 2K is gradually rolling out details across five key weeks—so if you're a longtime fan or just curious about the changes, now’s the time to get locked in.

As usual, this year’s installment brings updated rosters, new features, and gameplay improvements based on both feedback and where the real NBA is headed.

NBA 2K26 is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and for the first time, the Nintendo Switch 2. And with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander already confirmed as the cover athlete, 2K seems ready to deliver another major step forward for the franchise.
