NODWIN Gaming has officially teamed up with the Esports World Cup Foundation to handle media rights sales across South Asia, including key markets like India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

The partnership goes beyond just media rights. NODWIN will support the EWCF not only by managing distribution strategies but also by leading marketing efforts for the Indian audience, helping bring the Esports World Cup (EWC) experience closer to home.

For those unfamiliar, the EWC is one of the largest multi-title esports competitions in the world. Its 2024 edition featured 1,500 top players and 200 global clubs competing across 21 titles, with a record-setting $60 million prize pool. The event raked in 500 million online viewers and saw 2.6 million fans attend in person—setting a new bar for what esports can look like on the global stage.

Speaking on the partnership, Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and MD of NODWIN Gaming, said it’s about more than broadcasting a tournament. It’s about creating a cultural bridge that connects passionate gamers in South Asia with the international esports scene. “Whether it's India, Bangladesh, or Nepal, we want to make world-class esports content more accessible than ever,” he added.

NODWIN isn’t new to the game. The company has built a solid reputation for managing high-profile esports events and media rights. Their Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) has aired on Star Sports for three years running, making it the only Indian esports event currently on national television. They’ve also worked with Riot Games, FSDL, and ESL India on projects like VALORANT Challengers South Asia, eISL, and Mountain Dew Arena.

Mike McCabe, COO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, highlighted that South Asia is one of the most dynamic and fast-growing gaming markets in the world. He praised NODWIN’s local expertise and reach, noting that this partnership will help EWCF push for a more inclusive and sustainable esports future.
