Nuketown 2025 officially goes live today, November 20, 2025, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

The fan‑favorite, small and fast-paced (6v6) map is returning as part of the pre‑Season 1 update, filling the gap that players noticed at launch.
While Activision hasn’t confirmed the exact unlock time, it’s expected to drop around 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM GMT, which lines up with the franchise’s usual daily playlist refresh.
No maintenance is scheduled, which means no downtime, just a smooth addition to Quick Play and rotations.
For many of us, Nuketown is more than just another map. It’s a staple of the Black Ops series, first appearing back in 2010 and resurfacing in multiple forms over the years. This time, we’re getting a remastered version of Nuketown 2025, originally seen in Black Ops 2.
The new build keeps the retro‑futuristic vibe but adds sharper textures, dynamic lighting, and even robot mannequins to replace the old ones. It’s a small touch, but it makes the map feel fresh while staying true to its roots.

The good news? It’s free for everyone, no DLC or premium pass required.
