Why It Matters
Stadium mode was built from the ground up with esports in mind, hoping to breathe new life into the competitive scene following the end of the Overwatch League. If this event lands well with fans and pros alike, don’t be surprised if we see similar tournaments popping up in North America, Europe, and beyond.
This could be the start of a whole new era for Overwatch 2 esports.
