PUBG: Battlegrounds Is Getting a Stellar Blade Crossover with EVE as a Playable Skin

PUBG Studios has officially announced a crossover collaboration with Shift Up's action RPG Stellar Blade, bringing the game's lead character EVE into PUBG: Battlegrounds as a premium cosmetic skin.

The collaboration is titled Contender # 003: EVE. A trailer dropped on April 3, 2026, revealing all three of EVE's nano suits that players will be able to unlock through the battle royale's Contender skin system.

The official tagline from the trailer reads: "From savior to survivor. In the Battlegrounds, survival is the only rule. EVE engaged. Survival begins."

PUBG x Stellar Blade is official. EVE arrives as Contender #003 on PC April 8 and consoles April 16, 2026.

For those unfamiliar, Contender skins are premium cosmetics in PUBG that work on a progressive unlock system. Players pay to access the base skin and then work through stages to unlock additional outfits tied to that same purchase. It is a tiered approach, and it tends to cost more than your standard cosmetic drop. Pricing for the EVE skin has not been confirmed yet.

All Three EVE Nano Suits Coming to PUBG

According to the trailer, the Contender #003: EVE bundle includes three outfits from Stellar Blade:

  • Planet Diving Suit (7th): EVE's suit from her first arrival on Earth. It carries a clean, functional look tied to the early narrative of Stellar Blade.

  • War Dress: A more combat-ready outfit from later in the game's story.

  • Comfort Force: The third outfit rounding out the Contender bundle.

Alongside the outfits, the collaboration also includes a frying pan skin styled after EVE's original green suit. Frying pans have been a long-running cosmetic item in PUBG, so this one works as a fun nod to Stellar Blade's source material.

Release Dates

The content goes live on PC on April 8, 2026. Console players on PS5 and Xbox will have to wait a little longer, with their release set for April 16, 2026. Both launches are expected to follow scheduled server maintenance. On PC, that window typically falls around midnight PT, while console maintenance usually runs at 1 AM PT.

The game has previously run similar events with Resident Evil and Lamborghini, so teaming up with a major PlayStation title like Stellar Blade fits right into that pattern.
