PUBG Mobile is partnering with the popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End in an unexpected crossover. The collaboration was officially announced on March 29 by Frieren's X (formerly Twitter) account and is set to launch tomorrow April 1 in Japan.

This partnership brings together two remarkably different worlds. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is known for its thoughtful storytelling that follows an elf mage exploring human emotions and the passage of time after defeating a Demon King. The anime's calm, reflective nature stands in stark contrast to PUBG Mobile's high-energy battle royale format, where 100 players compete on a shrinking battlefield for survival.
