Krafton has officially lifted the curtain on one of PUBG’s biggest esports events of the year — the PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) 2025.


A detailed blog post published on Krafton’s website lays out everything fans need to know about the format, schedule, and prize pool — along with a returning community-favorite: the Pick’em Challenge.


When and Where is PUBG Nations Cup 2025 Happening?


  • Dates: July 23–27, 2025

  • Venue: Olympic Handball Gymnasium, Seoul, South Korea


The event will unfold over five action-packed days. The first two days will host the Survival Stage, featuring 16 national teams battling it out.


Only the top eight from this stage will move forward to the Final Stage, which spans the final three days.


These eight advancing teams will be joined by 2024’s top eight teams, including:

  • South Korea (defending champions)

  • Argentina

  • Australia

  • Brazil

  • China

  • Thailand

  • USA

  • Vietnam


Format & Ruleset

  • Version: The event will be played on version 36.1

  • Scoring: Uses the S.U.P.E.R Point System

  • Victory Condition: Teams compete to secure Chicken Dinners (last team standing).

  • Tiebreakers: In the event of a tie in Chicken Dinners, the team with the most kills across the series wins.

Prize Pool Breakdown

PNC 2025 features a $500,000 (~£391,000) base prize pool — and that’s just the start. The final pool will increase through crowdfunding via the Pick’em Challenge.

Here’s how the base pool is distributed:

  • 1st Place – $150,000 (~£117,000)

  • 2nd Place – $60,000 (~£47,000)

  • 3rd Place – $36,000 (~£28,000)

  • 4th – $30,000 (~£23,000)

  • 5th – $25,000 (~£19,000)

  • 6th – $19,000 (~£14,000)

  • 7th to 12th – Between $17,000 and $12,000, decreasing by $1,000 per position

  • 13th to 24th – From $10,500 to $5,000, decreasing by $500 per placement


Pick’em Challenge Returns

The Pick’em Challenge lets fans purchase exclusive PNC 2025 in-game items, with 25% of revenue contributing to the overall prize pool. It’s a great way for the PUBG community to show support and directly impact the tournament’s stakes.
