Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment have revealed the full motion capture cast behind Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, the upcoming prequel to the acclaimed survival series.
The game is set to launch on August 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with day one availability on Xbox Game Pass confirmed as well.

What Is Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy About?
Resonance is a third person action adventure title developed by Asobo Studio. It takes players back to 1334 on the Greek island of Crete, roughly 15 years before the events of A Plague Tale: Innocence and Requiem. The story follows Sophia, the capable young smuggler and fighter who was first introduced in Requiem.
Rather than leaning heavily into the stealth and rat swarm survival gameplay that defined the earlier entries, Resonance shifts the focus toward:
Direct, fluid sword and dagger combat
Puzzle solving built around a mysterious light refracting sphere
Exploration of collapsing temples and coastal Minoan ruins
Mythical elements tied to the legend of the Minotaur
The tone blends historical atmosphere with supernatural mystery and a strong sense of personal destiny for Sophia. Composer Olivier Deriviere is also returning to score the game, continuing the emotional throughline that has become a series trademark.
Who Is In The Motion Capture Cast?

Anna Demetriou as Sophia (voice and motion capture)
British actress of Greek-Cypriot heritage, born in 1993. Demetriou first voiced Sophia in A Plague Tale: Requiem (2022). For Resonance she performs both voice and full motion/performance capture, allowing tighter integration of physicality and delivery. Her gaming credits are extensive: roles or additional voices in Horizon Forbidden West, Final Fantasy XVI (Dorys), Baldur’s Gate 3 (including Mirie and others), Fallout: London, Star Citizen (voice and motion capture, including New Babbage systems and SAIC Rowena Dulli), The First Berserker: Khazan, The First Descendant, Hellblade II, and more. Live-action work includes films such as Viking Destiny (Princess Helle) and The Marine 6: Close Quarters. She is also an active Twitch streamer and content creator who frequently discusses her game performances.
Lisa Delamar as Leni (voice and motion capture)
Rising Franco-American/UK-based actress known primarily for live-action roles. She took a lead role as Cassie in the 2024 sci-fi/thriller Survive and appeared in Influencers (2025) as Diane, plus shorter projects. Resonance marks a notable step into major video-game performance capture and voice work. Fluent in English and French with adaptable accents, she brings a grounded screen presence to the supporting cast.
Benjamin (Ben) Homewood as Faro (voice and motion capture)
Bilingual British-French actor with a long career in television and film. Notable credits include a recurring role as Allan Brody across multiple seasons of the sci-fi series Missions (2017–2021), appearances in L’île prisonnière, 37 Seconds, RocknRolla, National Treasure: Book of Secrets, The Inbetweeners, EastEnders, and various other British and French productions. Resonance expands his work into video-game performance capture.
Alex Martin as Irene, Alec, and Ezra (motion capture)
Experienced French performer specializing in motion capture, performance capture, and stunts. He previously contributed to A Plague Tale: Requiem (motion capture for Count Victor of Arles, Milo, Mathias, and soldiers, plus fight arrangement). Other major game credits include performance capture as Renoir in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, work on Horizon Forbidden West, Life Is Strange 2, Detroit: Become Human, Sifu, Skull and Bones, Star Wars: Outlaws, Beyond: Two Souls, and additional titles. His background includes martial arts, parkour, dance, and high-profile film/TV stunts (Spectre, Jason Bourne, Moon Knight, and others). Irene’s voice is provided separately by Chipo Chung.
Chloé Louis as Baby Sophia (motion capture)
French actress and physical performer trained at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. She is best known for providing the motion capture for young Hugo in A Plague Tale: Requiem (2022), a role that required nuanced physical work for a child character. Her theater background and prior series experience make her a natural fit for the younger version of the protagonist.
