Savvy Games Group Launches Academy to Boost Saudi Arabia's Gaming Industry

Savvy Games Group

Savvy Games Group has recently unveiled its Academy website aimed at helping game developers and creative entrepreneurs across Saudi Arabia.

The new Academy includes multiple programs catering to different age groups and experience levels.

For young enthusiasts aged 10-17, the Next-Gen program offers school-based workshops to introduce gaming concepts.

Game startups can benefit from the Incubator program, a 3-month online accelerator created in partnership with HP.

Those looking to enter the industry can apply for Kickstarter, which provides paid internships to launch careers in gaming.

According to Savvy, another initiative called Level-Up will be launched soon. This university program will prepare students specifically for careers in the video game industry.

Registration for all Academy programs is now available through their official website.

The Next-Gen Program is being delivered through schools and training centers throughout Saudi Arabia. As per reports, the Incubator Program involves collaborations with both Xsolla and HP to provide comprehensive support.

Savvy Games Group emphasized their belief that while talent exists everywhere, opportunities are not equally available. To address this imbalance, the company has committed to fully funding these programs alongside their partners.

This launch comes shortly after Savvy opened its new headquarters in Riyadh's King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). The new office represents the company's first permanent home and marks a significant step in supporting Saudi Arabia's growing gaming ecosystem.

Two of Savvy's subsidiaries, Steer Studios and Scopely's Mirai, have also moved into the new location to receive better support.
