Schedule 1 Reportedly Sold 8 million copies

Schedule 1

Schedule 1, the hit crime simulator, has reportedly sold a massive 8 million copies since launching in early access this past March.

The game was developed entirely by TVGS—also known as Tyler—a solo Aussie dev who's been making waves in the indie scene.

While Tyler hasn’t officially shared any sales numbers, a new report from Alinea Analytics has filled in the blanks. According to the report, Schedule 1 was Steam’s best-selling game for April, with 4.7 million copies sold that month alone. Since then, Schedule 1 has hit 8 million total sales, bringing in nearly $125 million in revenue. Not bad for a one-person project.

The game’s seen glowing reviews and jaw-dropping sales, but things haven’t been completely smooth for Tyler. Just weeks after launch, Movie Games S.A., the publisher behind Drug Dealer Simulator, accused Schedule 1 of copyright infringement. They claimed the game used elements from their title—including parts of the plot, gameplay mechanics, and the UI. So far, nothing concrete has come out of the investigation, but the claim sparked a massive backlash. Fans of Schedule 1 flooded to defend Tyler, even review-bombing Drug Dealer Simulator on Steam in protest.

Still, Tyler hasn’t let the drama slow things down. Schedule 1 has already seen multiple updates in its first two months, adding new features, gameplay tweaks, and quality-of-life improvements.

That said, Australian players are still waiting for the game to return to Steam. Earlier this month, Schedule 1 was suddenly pulled from the platform in the region. While some feared it had been banned, Tyler quickly clarified that it was only temporarily delisted due to missing an official age rating. According to him, it’ll be back once that gets sorted.
