Sloclap has introduced an official Code of Conduct for Rematch, laying down clear rules—and real consequences—for players who cheat, grief, or act toxic in matches.

This update isn’t just a formality. Over the past few weeks, reports of disruptive behavior have been piling up, especially in high-rank lobbies where cheating has become a real problem. With no cross-play currently available, many players have found it difficult to consistently team up with friends, making a clean and fair competitive environment all the more important.

To address these concerns, Sloclap has outlined exactly what kinds of behavior will get you booted—and for how long. Let’s break it down.

  • Players caught griefing, like purposely scoring own goals or helping the enemy team, will face a 3-day temporary ban

  • Those engaging in toxic behavior—think harassment, threats, or spamming abusive messages—will get banned for 3 to 7 days, depending on how severe the offense is.

  • And if you’re cheating? That’s where things get serious. Anyone found using hacks, bots, or third-party tools will receive an indefinite ban, no questions asked.

Sloclap has also made it clear that repeat offenders won’t get off lightly. If you keep breaking the rules, expect longer bans—or even a permanent one.

The good news? Players can now report bad behavior directly to the devs. Right now, reports can be submitted via the game’s official Discord server or through Sloclap’s website. A proper in-game reporting system is also in development, making it easier to call out unfair play without leaving the match.

Sloclap’s moderation team is actively monitoring in-game behavior and also working on improving their cheat detection systems behind the scenes.
