Mortal Shell 2

Cold Symmetry came out swinging as the very first announcement, dropping Mortal Shell 2. The sequel to their unique souls-like is keeping that grim atmosphere and brutal combat we loved, but here's the twist – you've got guns now. Think Remnant series vibes mixed with that signature Mortal Shell heaviness. 

It's hitting PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in 2026, with beta sign-ups already live.

Star Wars Hype: Fortnite Event Incoming

Kojima's Back: Death Stranding 2 Story Deep Dive

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach took center stage with Hideo Kojima himself presenting a new story trailer featuring Neil (Luca Marinelli) and Lucy (Alissa Jung). The big news? It's dropping on PS5 June 26, 2025 – way sooner than expected. Plus there was a live demo event scheduled for June 8 at 7 PM PT.

Chronicles: Medieval

Chronicles: Medieval was introduced with Tom Hardy providing narration for this medieval strategy RPG from Raw Power Games. The "Forge your destiny" experience launches on PC in early access in 2026, featuring knights heading to large-scale warfare.

Sonic Goes Cross-Platform Crazy

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds brought the energy with crossplay support and the most insane roster reveal. We're talking Hatsune Miku, Ichiban Kasuga, Joker from Persona, and yes – Minecraft Steve (via Season Pass). 

The game's racing onto PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on September 25, 2025. Standard edition is $69.99, Digital Deluxe is $89.99 with all the extras.

Anime Souls-Like Returns: Code Vein 2

Bandai Namco surprised everyone with Code Vein 2, the sequel to their 2019 anime souls-like RPG. It's coming in 2026 to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. The reveal trailer kept things mysterious, but fans of the original are probably already wishlisting.

Horror from the Little Nightmares Team: End of Abyss

End of Abyss brought the horror vibes courtesy of Section 9 Interactive – that's the Malmö-based crew who worked on Little Nightmares. Published by Epic Games, this top-down isometric nightmare has you playing as a combat technician exploring a facility crawling with fleshy monsters. 

Twin-stick survival horror shooter with Metroidvania elements? Sign us up. It's targeting 2026 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.

Mouse P.I. for Hire

Mouse: P.I. for Hire got a trailer showcase with Troy Baker voicing the private investigator protagonist. Classic noir vibes with that Baker charm.

Game of Thrones RTS

Game of Thrones: War for Westeros brought Jon Snow vs. the Night King action in real-time strategy form, with a Jamie Lannister cameo thrown in. 

This RTS lets you control the Great Houses or even the Night King himself in solo or multiplayer battles for the Seven Kingdoms. Another 2026 release.

Atomic Heart Universe Expands

Atomic Heart 2 got confirmed as in development using Unreal Engine 5 – no release date yet, but the hype is real.

Then The Cube got announced as an MMORPG shooter set in the same Atomic Heart universe. Mundfish is expanding its Soviet-themed sci-fi world across multiple projects.

Marvel: Cosmic Invasion Adds Heroes

Marvel Cosmic Invasion expanded its roster with Rocket Raccoon and She-Hulk joining Captain America and Venom.

Onimusha Returns

Onimusha: Way of the Sword got its second major trailer after that State of Play glimpse, confirming 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The swordplay looks intense, that parry system is giving us classic Onimusha vibes, and honestly – it's about time this series made a proper comeback.

Felt That Boxing

Felt That Boxing showcased physics-driven puppet boxing combat with slapstick humor and emotional elements. The game combines tactile gameplay mechanics with unexpected narrative depth.

Killer Inn

Square Enix unveiled Killer Inn, a 24-player team-based social deduction game. Think Among Us meets Fortnite in a big mansion where 'Wolves' hunt 'Lambs,' but the Lambs don't know who's who. Closed beta's coming soon.

ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders finally locked in October 30, 2025 as its release date. Embark Studios (The Finals team) is bringing third-person PVEvP extraction shooter action, and we're here for it.

Dune Awakening Launches

Dune: Awakening hit full release on June 10 (already available for Deluxe/Ultimate owners). This open-world multiplayer experience on Arrakis looked pretty epic in the gameplay trailer.

Chrono Odyssey announced closed beta from June 20 midnight PDT to June 22 at 11:59pm PDT across NA, Europe, and Asia.

Mafia Returns: The Old Country

Mafia: The Old Country delivered the "Loyalty is Everything" story trailer with more character development and gameplay footage. The series' return to its roots is looking solid.

Lego Innovation: Voyagers and Party Games

Lego Voyagers from the Lego Builders Journey team pitched a genius concept: what if you played as a single Lego brick? This two-player co-op experience (local or online, one purchase needed) is coming to PC and consoles including original Switch.

Lego Party brought Mario Party vibes with competitive minigames and board-based gameplay, targeting late 2025.

Brawler Action: Acts of Blood and Scott Pilgrim EX

Acts of Blood announced as a 2026 brawler release. 

Scott Pilgrim EX brought Tribute Games (Shredder's Revenge team) back with a four-player co-op 2D sidescroller where Scott and friends fight three warring gangs in Toronto. Series creator Bryan Lee O'Malley's writing the story for this 2026 release.

Live Service Updates Galore

The First Descendant revealed the Breakthrough DLC hitting August 7.

Hitman Gets Bond Villain: Le Chiffre

Hitman: World of Assassination added Mads Mikkelsen's Casino Royale villain Le Chiffre as a limited-time Elusive Target in the Paris level. Players have until July 6 to take him out.

Space Shooter Launch: Wildgate

Wildgate from former Blizzard developers at Moonshot Games locked in July 22, 2025 for release. This 20-player FPS team shooter is offering an open beta from June 9-16 for anyone wanting early access.

Stylish Action RPG: Blighted

RGG Studio's New Project: Stranger Than Heaven

Stranger Than Heaven (formerly Project Century) from Like A Dragon developer RGG Studio showcased 1943 Japanese setting with combat, moral choices, and what appears to be a multi-decade storyline. Classic RGG quality with a fresh setting.

The Grand Finale: Resident Evil 9 Requiem

Resident Evil 9: Requiem closed the show with a bang. Coming February 27, 2026 to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, we're getting a new protagonist named Grace Ashcroft, an FBI technical analyst investigating The Remwood Hotel in Raccoon City. Capcom promised "cinematic high-stakes action" while maintaining survival horror roots, continuing the first-person perspective from RE7 and Village.
