Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is back for another high-stakes run at the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025, taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from August 11th to 15th

Here’s a complete breakdown of everything you need to know.


EWC 2025 TFT Prize Pool & Club Points Breakdown

The Teamfight Tactics prize pool stands at $500,000, and top placements will also contribute to an organization's Club Points, which help determine the overall EWC 2025 Club Champion.

EWC 2025 TFT Tournament Format

The TFT tournament unfolds in two phases:

Group Stage (August 11–13)

  • 16 teams are split into four double-elimination brackets

  • Each group has four rosters

  • Top 2 teams from each group advance to the Playoffs

Playoffs (August 14–15)

  • Single-elimination bracket

  • Quarterfinals on August 14

  • Semifinals and Grand Final on August 15

  • Matches are best-of-three (BO3), except for the Grand Final (BO5)

  • 3 teams from the EMEA Closed Qualifier

  • 3 teams from the Americas Closed Qualifier

    • Both ran from May 2 to June 1

  • 3 teams from the Global Qualifier (June 6–8)


All matches will be broadcast live on the EWC Twitch channel and YouTube, with venue tickets also available for in-person viewing in Riyadh.
