Zentreya, a prominent VTuber under the VShojo banner, has officially ranked among the top 50 most-watched Twitch streamers over the past 30 days.

According to data from Twitch analytics site SullyGnome, Zentreya secured the 42nd spot overall with more than 2.39 million hours watched, outperforming notable streamers such as Emiru, Mizkif, sodapoppin, and even fellow VTuber Hiiragi Tsurugi from Neo-Porte.

Streams Charts, a competing analytics platform, presents slightly different figures but still confirms Zentreya’s dominance, placing her at 2.34 million hours watched over the same 30-day period.

In both datasets, Ironmouse — another founding member of VShojo — follows in second place among VTubers, with around 1.31 to 1.32 million hours viewed. These stats reinforce VShojo’s position as a powerhouse in the VTubing scene.

Zooming out a bit, the top overall streamer for the 30-day period remains Asmongold — streaming under the alias “zackrawrr” — with over 11.19 million hours watched, while HasanAbi holds the fifth spot with around 8.75 million hours. Interestingly, both have clashed publicly in the past, often over political commentary, which continues to fuel engagement on their respective channels.

So, where do VTubers stand in this landscape? Beyond just gaming and variety streams, some VTubers are carving out their own niche within the "news" meta. Creators like Nux Taku, FalseEyeD, and Rima Evenstar — some associated with Asmongold’s Mythic Talent agency — focus on reporting VTuber-centric news or broader world events. Nux, in particular, leans heavily into global topics and streamer drama, while FalseEyeD and Rima stay grounded in VTuber-specific coverage.

This subgenre, although still niche, is slowly gaining traction. Nux is reportedly close to hitting 1 million YouTube subscribers, a sign that VTuber content with a more analytical or news-driven edge may have the potential to cross over into the mainstream — or at least reach beyond the usual fanbase.
