Xbox Announces Gamescom 2025 Lineup Including Hollow Knight: Silksong, Black Ops 7

Xbox is set to return to Gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Germany, with a packed lineup of upcoming games, hardware reveals, and fan-centric experiences scheduled from August 20 to 24.
According to the official announcement on Xbox Wire, the company’s booth will feature over 20 playable games, including both first-party and third-party titles, as well as hands-on opportunities with the new ROG Xbox Ally handhelds.
The booth, located in Hall 7 of Koelnmesse, will spread across more than 120 demo stations, offering fans a chance to try upcoming releases, attend live broadcasts, and even participate in competitions and scavenger hunts.

20+ Playable Games Including Hollow Knight: Silksong, Ninja Gaiden 4, and More
Attendees will be able to go hands-on with several highly anticipated titles, such as Hollow Knight: Silksong, Ninja Gaiden 4, Grounded 2, and The Outer Worlds 2.
The ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Ally X handheld devices—developed in partnership with ASUS—will be publicly demoed for the first time, showcasing games like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, Roblox, and Sea of Thieves.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will make its show floor debut, just ahead of its story DLC titled The Order of Giants. Fans will get a chance to step into Indy’s boots with themed experiences and even compete in a daily puzzle challenge to win exclusive prizes.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will unveil a new city update and aircraft challenges, while the strategy genre gets attention with Age of Empires and Age of Mythology: Retold.
Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds 2 will be shown in an exclusive theater experience, offering a guided glimpse into a new in-game location called The Tomb of the Matriarch.

World of Warcraft and Call of Duty to Headline Opening Night
Beyond Xbox’s booth, two major franchises are set to make headlines during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19.
World of Warcraft will debut its next expansion, Midnight, complete with a new Housing system that will be playable at its dedicated booth in Hall 8. Blizzard is also hosting panels, cosplay events, esports competitions, and developer meet-and-greets across the week.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will also be officially revealed during the same broadcast, followed by exclusive content drops across the franchise’s social channels.
