As of November 6, 2025, Rockstar Games has announced a major update to its GTA+ subscription service: GTA Online is now fully included at no extra cost with an active GTA+ membership. This means players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC no longer need to purchase Grand Theft Auto V separately to access the multiplayer mode—it's essentially "free" as part of the $7.99/month (or equivalent) subscription.
