James Bond: 007 First Light State of Play Date and Timing Announced

IO Interactive will reveal an extended gameplay look at 007 First Light during a dedicated PlayStation State of Play on September 3, 2025.
The showcase, announced by IO Interactive’s senior global communication manager Yann Roskell, will run for more than 30 minutes and highlight a full playthrough of the game’s opening mission.
Players will see James Bond in his earliest days as an MI6 recruit, tackling everything from high-speed car chases to stealthy infiltrations and intense shootouts. The event will stream live on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.

This presentation follows the cinematic trailer reveal from the June 2025 State of Play, which gave fans their first proper glimpse of the new Bond adventure. According to IO Interactive, 007 First Light is described as “a thrilling espionage action-adventure game” that explores Bond’s younger years as a raw and sometimes reckless agent-in-training.
The game is slated to launch in 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, marking IO Interactive’s biggest multi-platform release to date.
