Microsoft has rolled out its third Stream Your Own Game update for September 2025, adding another 15 titles to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate library.

If you’re an Ultimate subscriber ($20) using Xbox Cloud Gaming, you can now stream big hitters like Borderlands 4, Hell is Us, and NBA 2K26, as long as you "own" them.

For those who haven’t tried it yet, Stream Your Own Game is a handy feature that lets you play "select" owned titles (even if they’re not in the Game Pass library) via the cloud on supported devices. It’s perfect when you’re away from your console or PC, and it’s a key selling point for upcoming handhelds like the Xbox ROG Ally.

This latest batch follows two earlier September updates. The first wave leaned heavily on indie and mobile titles, while the second brought in a few more recognizable names. Now, with this third drop, Microsoft is clearly aiming to please fans of both blockbuster and niche experiences.

Here's the full list, thanks to Better xCloud on Twitter:

  • Borderlands 4

  • Covenant of Solitude

  • Disney Speedstorm

  • Dragon Pinball

  • Fuga: Melodies of Steel

  • Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2

  • Hell is Us

  • NBA 2K26 + NBA 2K26 (Xbox One)

  • TactiCats

  • The Answer Is 42

  • The Epyx Collection: Handheld

  • The Pyraplex

  • The Safe Place

  • Virtual Families 3: Our Country Home

  • Virtual Families Cook Off: Chapter 1 Let's Go Flippin'

According to Microsoft, the feature is also on its way to Game Pass Standard and Game Pass Core members. It’s currently in testing with Xbox Insiders, so if you’re in those tiers, you might not have to wait too long before you can stream your "owned" games too.

Looking at the bigger picture, September has been a busy month for Stream Your Own Game. Since the start of the month, Microsoft has added a total of 96 titles to the service. That’s on top of the nearly 200 games added since August. The growing list now spans everything from retro remasters like Suikoden I&II HD to modern hits like Sea of Stars.
