The Esports World Cup 2025 has confirmed 23 game titles across various genres for its summer event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament will run for approximately eight weeks from July to August 2025, bringing together the world's top esports competitors.

Some games have secured long-term partnerships with the EWCF, guaranteeing their place in future tournaments. VALORANT, Riot Games' tactical shooter, has confirmed its presence through 2027. Crossfire, the battle royale from Smilegate, returns with a three-year partnership deal. These multi-year agreements show how publishers are increasingly viewing the EWC as a major fixture in the esports calendar.
What makes the EWC unique is its Club Championship format. Instead of just crowning winners in individual games, esports organizations earn points across multiple titles. This encourages big names like T1, Team Liquid, and FaZe Clan to field teams in as many games as possible.
Building on its successful debut in 2024, which replaced the earlier Gamers8 festival, the EWC 2025 is expected to match or exceed the previous $60 million prize pool. Last year's event was a massive hit, drawing a million in-person spectators and over 500 million online viewers.
The competition will use several venues throughout Riyadh, including arenas that can hold up to 8,000 fans. While we don't have exact dates yet, it'll likely follow last year's schedule of early July to late August.
For gaming enthusiasts, the EWC 2025 promises to be one of the year's biggest events, bringing together a wide range of competitive games across PC, console, and mobile platforms in one massive celebration of esports.
