THE FINALS League 2.0 Kicks Off with Six Teams Ready for Battle

THE FINALS League 2.0 is set to begin tomorrow, featuring six city-based teams led by popular Indian gaming personalities after a recent player auction.


The esports competition will run from March 21 to 30, divided into two distinct phases. According to the official schedule, the Group Stage will take place from March 21 to 23, where the six cities will compete in a double round-robin format across three groups. Only the top four teams will advance to the Main Stage, scheduled for March 29 and 30.


During the Main Stage, the four qualifying teams will face off in two series of six maps each. The team that accumulates the highest points will be crowned champion of THE FINALS League 2.0.


The tournament features the Cash Out mode, where teams of three players battle in a fully destructible environment. The gameplay revolves around eliminating opponents to secure Cashouts, with the ultimate goal being to collect the most cash by the end of each match.


Each city team is captained by a well-known gaming content creator who selected their roster during the player auction held on March 14. The team lineups include:


  • Mumbai Moonlanders: Led by Captain Binks with teammates HADDIII, Pashu, Zeb, and Jitzsu


  • Haryana Hypernovas: Captained by Blossom, featuring Exotic, Spaceinsane, Zer0, and Buzz


  • Delhi Celestials: Under Rakazone's leadership with Yclown, Flyx, Gator, and JJ FPS YT


  • Ahmedabad Meteors: Headed by Hydraflick alongside Ghostlyboii, Parag, Vanshaj, and Shooter


  • Hyderabad Halos: Captain Tbone directing 7aze, Blackhole YT, Nightmare, and Mukku


  • Bengaluru Starbusters: Led by Red Parasite with Alva, Fragrift, Morax, and Tempest


Gaming enthusiasts can catch all the action live on THE FINALS India and Skyesports YouTube channels starting at 4PM IST each day of the tournament.


The competition offers a total prize pool of $5,000, distributed among the top performers. The champion team will receive $2,300, while the runner-up earns $1,200. The third and fourth place finishers will take home $700 and $400 respectively.


Additionally, individual achievements will be recognized with the Ruthless Assassin (Most Kills) and Helping Hand (Best Support) awards, each carrying a $200 prize.
