Amazon Prime Gaming (now Amazon Luna) has announced its full lineup of free games for May 2026, headlined by Mafia II: Definitive Edition alongside 10 other titles spanning a range of genres.


As part of an Amazon Prime subscription, members receive a selection of PC games every month to claim, download, and keep permanently. This works differently from services like PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass. Rather than offering temporary access tied to an active subscription, Amazon provides redemption codes for storefronts like GOG, the Epic Games Store, Legacy Games, and the Amazon Games App. Once redeemed, the game stays in your library for good.

The clear headliner this month is Mafia II: Definitive Edition. The game is a third-person action-adventure set in a fictionalized 1940s and 1950s Empire Bay, following Vito Scaletta, a WWII veteran who climbs the ranks of organized crime. For puzzle fans, May brings two escape room entries from developer mc2games. Palindrome Syndrome: Escape Room is a sci-fi puzzler where you wake up on a spaceship with no memory and must decode clues and investigate rooms to piece together your past. 60 Minutes to Extinction: Escape Room takes a more intense approach, dropping you into a retrofuturistic Cold War bunker with exactly 60 minutes and no saves to prevent a nuclear catastrophe. Both are niche experiences, but well suited for players who enjoy focused, atmospheric puzzle-solving.


Lethal Honor: Order of the Apocalypse is a brutal roguelite action game developed by Viral Studios and published by HandyGames. Hot Brass, developed by Walk with Kings, is a real-time top-down tactical shooter with SWAT-style missions. It covers breaching, hostage situations, and team tactics, with co-op support included. Nordic Storm Solitaire is a casual card game with over 130 levels and a Nordic visual theme, aimed at players looking for something low-key.

Pro Basketball Manager 2026, developed by Umix Studios, wraps things up with a deep basketball management simulation featuring licensed leagues and a new 3D engine.
