Egypt’s Bear Clan have officially been crowned champions of the Carry1st Africa Cup Grand Championship 2025, taking home the $7,500 top prize and securing their spot as Africa’s qualifier for the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship.

The tournament, held in Lagos, brought together eight of the continent’s top teams. Bear Clan’s road to victory was dominant. They went undefeated through the upper bracket, swept Nigeria’s Eclipse Gaming 3-0 in the semifinal, and then defeated South Africa’s Paradox 4-1 in the Grand Final.

Beyond the competition, the event was a celebration of African esports culture, blending high‑level gameplay with live music performances and community showcases.

With this win, Bear Clan now move on to face the best squads from North America, Europe, LATAM, India, Japan, and the Garena regions in the World Finals. The format will begin with group stages before moving into double-elimination playoffs, closing with a best-of-7 Grand Final. While Activision hasn’t revealed the exact city or venue yet, we know it’s going to be one of the biggest CODM stages of the year.
