BGMI 4.3 Update Brings Racing Mode, New Weapon, and Tiered Loot Houses to Classic Matches

BGMI 4.3 Update is adding a Racing Mode in classic matches.

The Racing Mode introduces drag race-style checkpoints within flagged zones on the map. Players can enter these zones and trigger timed vehicle runs, competing to finish within a set time limit in exchange for extra loot mid-match.

It sounds simple, but the execution adds real depth. The open race routes make you fully visible to enemies, so every run is a calculated risk. Do you go for the loot, or do you play it safe? That is exactly the kind of decision making developer seems to be going for.

Casual players are expected to use the racing zones as quick loot routes, while competitive squads may treat them as high-risk shortcuts or flanking options. Either way, vehicles are no longer just a means of transport. They become part of the strategy.

What Else Is Coming in BGMI 4.3 Update

  • M1 Garand: A semi-automatic rifle. There is no forced recoil delay between shots.

  • Tiered Loot Houses: In the map, Houses are marked with letters ranging from C to S, and players start every match at Tier C. Driving vehicles or securing eliminations upgrades your tier, and you can only access houses that match or fall below your current tier. Higher-tier houses naturally offer better loot. Hidden within some of the higher-tier houses are special nostalgia-themed rooms. These are a tribute to older BGMI updates.

  • Pochinki Gliding Rails: Players can jump onto these rails to move quickly across rooftops and streets.

  • Upgraded Human Launchers: Both a visual and functional overhaul. They now display a charging animation before launching players toward specific landing spots, many of which contain valuable loot.

  • Water City Drone Event: Once activated, a 150-second timer kicks off, and players receive rewards upon completion.
