BGMI players in India, get ready! The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2026 has officially opened registrations, marking the start of what Krafton calls “India’s biggest open-for-all esports showdown.” For underdog teams and aspiring pros, this is the ultimate chance to showcase skills on the national stage.

Start Date: December 15, 2025 (12:00:01 AM)
End Date: January 4, 2026 (11:59:59 PM)

How to Register for BGIS 2026
Visit the official Krafton India Esports website.
Find the BGIS login on the homepage or via the menu → “Tournament.”
Click the BGIS 2026 registration banner to access the form.
New Users:
Create an account with your mobile number + OTP verification.
Accept Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Rulebook.
Fill in personal details (name, DOB, email).
Create a secure password and KIE ID.
Complete registration with a confirmation message.
Existing Users:
Log in using your registered mobile number and password or via OTP.
Updating Your BGIS Profile
Go to My Profile → My Game IDs → Edit.
Enter your In-Game Name (IGN) and UID.
Upload a screenshot of the in-game profile.
Select roles (Main + Other).
Save changes for confirmation.
Creating a Team
Click Register Now under the BGIS 2026 banner OR go to My Teams → Create Team.
Enter team name.
Choose role: Team Owner, Team IGL, or both.
Submit details → receive confirmation message.
BGIS 2026 Rules & Eligibility
Basic Acceptance: Registering = automatic acceptance of rules (subject to updates).
Player Eligibility:
Minimum age: 16 (under 18 need parental consent).
Must be Indian citizens with a valid ID (Aadhar, Passport, DL, Student ID).
Rank: Level 30+ and Platinum I or higher.
One player = one team only.
Team & Roster:
4 main players + 1 substitute (optional).
Max roster size: 5.
Must have a Team Captain and a Team Manager.
Tournament officials have the right to reject any team name or logo if they consider it inappropriate or offensive.
Equipment:
Only mobile phones/approved handheld devices.
No emulators, tablets, controllers, keyboards, or mouse.
POV Recording:
Mandatory in-game + handcam POV for every match.
Upload within 8 hours; late uploads = -2 points per match.
Code of Conduct:
Strict ban on cheating, match fixing, toxic behavior, gambling, drugs, and unauthorized streaming.
Sponsorship Restrictions:
No gambling, alcohol, tobacco, cryptocurrency, cheat tools, or competitor game sponsors.

Prize Pool
Total Prize Pool: ₹2 Crore INR
Winner: ₹60 Lakh INR
Runner-ups: 1st: ₹30 Lakh INR; 2nd: ₹20 Lakh INR
In-Game Qualifiers
After registrations close, the in-game qualifiers will begin from January 8 to January 14, 2026. This stage is crucial as only 1,016 teams will move forward from the qualifiers into the next rounds. With such fierce competition, every match will matter, and underdog teams will have their shot at making history in BGIS 2026.
