Team Versatile Wins BGIS 2025 Championship After Three-Day Intense Battle

Team Versatile

Team Versatile has officially claimed the crown at the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 Grand Finals, wrapping up three days of fierce competition with a total of 169 points across 18 matches.

This year marked the fourth edition of BGIS, with the Grand Finals taking place at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan in Kolkata

Organized by KRAFTON, the finale brought together 16 of the best BGMI teams from across India to battle it out for a staggering prize pool of ₹3.2 crore INR.

Team Versatile’s path to the trophy was built on a rock-solid mix of aggressive play and smart positioning. They racked up 101 finish points, 68 placement points, and secured three Winner Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCDs) during the finals — including an electrifying back-to-back WWCD streak on Day 2 (at Game 7 & 8) that launched them to the top of the leaderboard and kept them there.

In second place, GodLike Esports put up a serious fight, ending with 152 points. They actually snagged the highest number of finish points among all teams (117 finish points), but fell short when it came to placement points (35), which ultimately cost them the title.

Orangutan rounded out the podium with 143 points (93 finish points, 50 placement points), holding strong throughout the three-day slugfest.

The battle for the top five was razor-thin, with Reckoning Esports (132 points) and True Rippers (118 points) keeping the pressure on all the way to the final circle.
