BMIC 2026: Everything You Need to Know About BGMI's Biggest International Event
BMIC is back!
Krafton India has announced the second edition of BMIC (Battlegrounds Mobile India International Cup), their flagship international BGMI tournament. It brings together the top teams from India, South Korea, and Japan for a high-stakes LAN event in Mumbai, offering a ₹1 crore prize pool and two qualification spots for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2026 in Türkiye.

Event Overview
The tournament runs from Friday, October 30 to Sunday, November 1, 2026, at The Dome, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (SVP) Indoor Stadium (NSCI, Worli, Mumbai). It is a live audience LAN event organized by KRAFTON India (with Tesseract Esports). The previous edition in 2025 was held in New Delhi and was won by South Korea’s DRX.
Format
16 teams compete in a single lobby across 18 matches (6 matches per day) in Squads TPP mode on LAN.
Points carry over across all three days. The team with the highest total points after Match 18 is crowned champion.
No Smash Rule this year (unlike some other BGMI events). The winner is decided purely on overall points.
Standard points system (as consistent with BGMI events):
1st: 10 points
2nd: 6
3rd: 5
4th: 4
5th: 3
6th: 2
7th–8th: 1
9th–16th: 0
Plus 1 point per elimination.
Tiebreakers: Total WWCDs (Chicken Dinners), then total placement points, then elimination points, then best placement in the most recent match.
Map rotation: Match 1 on Rondo, Matches 2–4 on Erangel, Matches 5–6 on Miramar. Subsequent days follow the official schedule.
Schedule
Broadcasts start at 12:00 PM IST each day, with the first match typically around 2:00 PM IST and matches spaced roughly 40 minutes apart.
Day | Date | Matches | Show Start (IST) |
Day 1 | Friday, October 30, 2026 | 6 | 12:00 PM |

16 teams: 6 from India, 5 from South Korea, 5 from Japan. All confirmed.
India (via top 6 of BMSD 2026 Grand Finals, Hyderabad):
Team SouL (Champions, 155 pts) — Nakul, Goblin, Legit, Joker, Thunder (already hold a PMGC slot from BMSD)
Gladiators Esports (2nd, 141 pts) — Neyo, Justin, Aquanox, Destro, DeltaPG
Team 8Bit (3rd, 140 pts) — Juicy, Sarang, Skipz, Shubh, Shorty
K9 Esports (4th, 135 pts) — Saumraj, SnowJod, Taurus, Smoker, Stranger
Blitz Epigrotive Gaming (5th, 133 pts) — Areeb, Eggy, Lobster, FanOP, Ralphie
Team Outrage (6th, 123 pts) — Omegaa, Knight, Slug, NinjaBoi, Amit
South Korea:

Dplus KIA (KEL 2026 runners-up) — Favian, Nolbu, Chpz, Cyxae, Porico
DRX (defending BMIC champions, via PMPS 2026 Season 2)
FOCUS (via PMPS 2026 Season 2)
GAME PT (via PMPS 2026 Season 2)
Japan (via top 5 of PMJL Season 6 Phase 2):
Valor (Champions, 341 pts)
REIGNITE (2nd, 328 pts)
Versus (3rd, 321 pts)
MAKING THE ROAD (4th, 319 pts)
KINOTROPE gaming (5th, 296 pts)
PMGC 2026 Qualification
Champion → PMGC 2026 Gauntlet Stage
Runner-up → PMGC 2026 Group Stage
Important caveat: If a team that has already qualified (e.g., Team SouL via BMSD, NS RedForce, or Valor) finishes in the top two, the slot cascades to the next highest eligible non-qualified team. This allows Indian teams a realistic path to up to three PMGC spots overall across BMSD + BMIC.
Broadcast and Viewing
Official stream: KRAFTON India Esports YouTube channel
Daily show start: 12:00 PM IST

There are unconfirmed reports that Norwegian DJ Alan Walker (who previously partnered with BGMI, with his track “Hero” used as lobby music) will perform at the opening ceremony on October 30. This remains a rumor pending official confirmation from KRAFTON India.
