BGMI Air (Lite) Arrives in Early December 2026
Krafton has officially confirmed that BGMI Air, the lightweight version of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), will launch in India in early December 2026.
Designed specifically for players with limited storage and entry-level smartphones, the game aims to deliver the core battle royale experience in a much more accessible package.
This marks a significant expansion of the BGMI ecosystem, which has already surpassed 260 million downloads in India.
Originally announced as BGMI Lite in August 2026, the title was rebranded to BGMI Air on October 15, 2026. The pre-registrations had already crossed 10 million on the Google Play Store.
The game will launch first on Android via the Google Play Store. An iOS version has not been announced yet.
Krafton has not confirmed the download size yet, but there will be no forced additional packages before your first match. Optional content can be downloaded or removed as needed.
